LED TV Mounting Brackets

Mounting an LED tv is slightly different from LCDs in that the bracket used has small differences in their requirements. LED televisions are the next wave in flat panel HDTV. They are much thinner and lighter than LCDs or plasma televisions. What I like is the environmental side of the comparison. They don't use mercury in the production, which is of course toxic. NEVER buy a floor model!!! The store has set up the colors and contrast for the best possible picture. This can damage a flat screen in the long run!

Size of the LED tv mounting bracket. The size and type if the bracket needed for installation is of course integral in the selection of the mounting bracket. Remember that the weight of an LED tv almost quadruples when you double the screen size.

Consider where the Cables and DVD player etc. will go. The LED tv may look best in your room over the fireplace, but where are you going to put the cable box, DVR and Blue-ray disc player. You can of course run long cables if necessary, but keep this in mind when mounting your bracket for the LED tv.
